Toy Parade patterning activity

This adorable packet includes a variety of card sets for practicing patterning skills.

The first set, for the youngest explorers, follows an A-B-A-B pattern using 8 longer strip cards (4 items each to establish a pattern) and 4 half-strip cards (2 items each, to continue the pattern).

The second set again has 8 longer strip cards to establish the patterns of A-B-B-A and  A-B-C-A, along with 8 half-strips to continue the patterns.

The third set has 8 longer strips with patterns of A-B-C-D (2 figures pointing left/right to make 4 figures), A-B-A-C, and A-B-C-A, along with their half-strips.

Finally, there are 2 sets of square single-item cards showing all the toys in 2 sizes.  These can be used to continue the patterns on any of the strips, to create your own patterns, or for other matching and sorting games.
